Ultrasonic level gauge is a digital level instrument that processes signals with high-performance microprocessors. In measurement, ultrasonic pulses are emitted by sensors (transducers), and the sound waves are reflected by the surface of the object and received by the same sensor. The receiving circuit, filtering circuit, and envelope circuit convert the signals into electrical signals that can be recognized by the processor. The processor records the time between ultrasonic emission and reception, and calculates the distance between the sensor and the object being measured. Due to the use of non-contact measurement, the measured medium is almost unrestricted and can be widely used for measuring the height of various liquid and solid materials.

working principle:
The working principle diagram of the split standard ultrasonic level gauge/level gauge is that the ultrasonic level gauge is installed on the upper part of the container. Under the control of the electronic unit, the probe emits a beam of ultrasonic pulses towards the measured object. Sound waves are reflected by the surface of an object, and some of the reflected echoes are received by the probe and converted into electrical signals. The time from ultrasonic emission to re reception is proportional to the distance between the probe and the object being measured. The electronic unit detects the time and calculates the measured distance based on the known sound speed. The level value can be obtained through subtraction operation. Due to the influence of temperature on sound velocity, instruments should measure temperature to correct for sound velocity.

Installation conditions for ultrasonic level gauge container:
● Closed container
For ranges below 8m, the container should have flange ports of DN65 or above;
For the 10m and 12m ranges, the container should have flange openings of DN80 or above, and the length of the connecting pipe under the flange should be less than 15cm.
For a range of 15m, the container should have a flange with a diameter of DN150 or more, and the length of the connecting pipe under the flange should be less than 15cm.
For measuring ranges of 20m, 30m, and 40m, the container should have flange ports with a diameter of DN200 or more, and the length of the connecting pipe under the flange should be less than 20cm.
● Open container
For ranges below 8m, the container should have an installation port with a diameter of 65mm or more;
For 10m and 12m ranges, the container should have an installation port with a diameter of 80mm or more, and the thickness of the installation port should be less than 15cm.
For a range of 15m, the container should have an installation port with a diameter of 150mm or more, and the thickness of the installation port should be less than 15cm.
For measuring ranges of 20m, 30m, and 40m, the container should have an installation port with a diameter of 200mm or more, and the thickness of the installation port should be less than 20cm.
● Open pool
Require installation brackets. Outdoor applications in cold regions: Open pools should be installed at a higher height to prevent ultrasonic probes from frosting and freezing.
Container: For flange outdoor installation, insulation measures should be taken; Unable to keep warm, an extended probe ultrasonic level gauge should be ordered to insert the probe into the container.
